Going home...

"You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy." Psalm 30:11

Heaven sent...homeward bound!!! What a great Father's Day gift! Just a quick note to let you know we will be heading back to Ohio today, we are hoping to have Kyle discharged by 11:00 am. Joe arrived in Orlando last night and then we spent the night in the nesting room with Kyle. Except for our lack of sleep, everything went great!!!

While Kyle will ultimately decide how far we get, our plan is to drive to at least Charlotte, North Carolina before stopping for the night. Tomorrow our drive will resume and we should be back in Ohio by late evening...and reunited with Madison! Praise the Lord!

Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers over the last few months!!! "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." PSALMS 118:24

Much Love,

Jennifer, Joe, Madison and Kyle

As I type this my eyes are filled with tears of Joy for you guys. I am sure that you have dreamed about what this day would feel like. To be able to walk out of that hospital that you have called home for the last several months I am sure the feelings that you are both having are those of happiness and anticipation. You are both such strong people and have proven that in your faith and love for your family. Have a safe trip home and enjoy being re-united with your family! I look forward to update on our journey! Happy Fathers Day Joe!! It is one that you will never forget!!
Love always,
The Hudkins' Family

I hope that you all are having a safe journey home. Jennifer, I miss you already. You have become such a huge part of my life and I promise that I will never forget you, Kyle, Joe, and Madison. I can't wait to be able to tell Rylee about all the fun that we had while they were in NICU. You deserve nothing but the best. You also made many of my days brighter. I always enjoyed coming to check on Kyle and just chatting with you. Dinner the other night was great. I will have to save the Melting Pot for the next time we are together. Please make sure that you keep me updated on Kyle and I will keep you updated on Rylee. Now I can't wait for the day that I can email you, or better yet, call you and say that Rylee is going home. Thank you again for everything Jennifer. I miss ya!!!

Well, the day you left Orlando was the day we arrived back in Georgia from visiting in Akron to attend the wedding of Earl's niece. It was so good to see Bob and Carol, and Denny and Linda. We got an update from Denny and Linda, and then also got to check your blog while at Bob and Carol's house. We were disappointed to miss you all, but know you will have your hands full adjusting to all the changes, and everyone who wants to see Kyle when you get home. We pray that your journey home will be safe and uneventful, and that Kyle will become a traveling trooper. We hope this isn't the end of your blog, although understand you will not have as much time to devote to it. We look forward to any updates.
Love,
Aunt Karen

Dear loved ones
Hope your trip has been good so far and Kyle has done well. I know you will be tired when you get home, but if you just have one extra minute let us know if you get home safe.I have been praying for you all.

Jennifer where is Breanne from that was your friend at the hospital? I just wondered if she was from the Orlando area or away from home like you were.I hope her baby does good and gets to go home soon also, she is a beautiful baby like Kyle, they made a good pair.

Have a safe trip and I am praying for your safety on the road as there are alot of nuts out there any more, you sure have to watch everyone. I love you all and am really happy for you all. Keep us posted.

Praying for a safe trip, Aunt Sandra
