Happy New Year!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
.
What a year it has been!!! Words can not describe how grateful we are to everyone that has been praying for our family over the past year. Throughout this entire ordeal, we have felt God holding us in the palm of His hand. We have been overwhelmed by the care and concern shown to Kyle and to our family over the past year. Your prayers have been so appreciated and we know they have been a part of Kyle’s miraculous recovery! When I look at Kyle now, it is hard for me to imagine that he once weighed just 18 ounces. I am amazed by the accomplishments he has made, he truly is our miracle baby. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for Kyle in 2008!
.
We had a great Christmas. Kyle seems to be a social butterfly already and loved all the family gatherings. As far as gifts go, he was more interested in trying to eat the wrapping paper and bows than in actually opening his presents.
.
Last week Kyle got his first tooth! Poor little guy had an ear infection one day and the next day he cut his first tooth. Not knowing he had an ear infection, we took Kyle to the doctor because he would not stop crying, which is very out of character for Kyle...he is ussually such a happy baby. Needless to say, between his tooth and ear infection he was in a lot of pain. The antibiotics cleared it right up and Kyle was back to himself the next day.
.
I hope that you all have a wonderful New Year!
.
God Bless,
.

How exciting is that, that Kyle got his first tooth. I am still waiting for Rylee to get hers in. The ear infections are horrible. Rylee has had several of them and I know what you mean about the crying. Rylee never cries unless she has an ear infection. I am glad to hear that Kyle and Madison had a great Christmas. It is so funny how Rylee and Kyle are doing so many things alike. I often feel that when I write Rylee's carepages that I am writing the same things as you did on Kyle's, but it is because they are pretty much on track for everything. Oh the fun stories we will be able to tell them one day. Hope to see you soon!!

Happy New Year to the Kupiecs!
The pictures of the kids are just too beautiful. Madison is turning into a fashion model, and Kyle is so adorable. We just returned from a few days at Hilton Head, where we spent New Years with another couple, and had beautiful weather to ride bikes and walk the beach until the day of our return, when it dropped to 29. Now we're back in Atlanta and it's only 16 degrees! We're not used to that here. You all try to keep warm. We look forward to your next posting.
Love,
Aunt Karen

Happy New Year! What great pictures! So glad that all is going so well~ God is amazing and I'm sure good things will come in 2008- John is battling pneumonia & a double ear infection - not fun at all- He also never cries unless he's in pain- and he's been crying so much lately-it makes you feel helpless- hopefully his new meds will do the trick :) Seems like once John got his 1st 2 teeth(they popped out at the same time)- then he got 3 more within about 1 1/2 weeks--- poor little guy- so hang in there, the fun is about to begin! We enjoy your updates and look forward to the next one- and it's also so nice to hear about Rylee- we look forward to meeting Breanne and Rylee this year at our March for Babies Walk! God Bless you all,
